About Jan Srutek

I’m sure you’re dying to learn something about me. Ok, fair point, maybe you’re not. But hey, here’s something anyway: (just in case)
I work in London as a Senior Interaction Designer for a specialist interaction design studio Flow Interactive.
Over the last few years, I have consulted for a number of the world’s largest brands, been to some of the tallest skyscrapers as a result, and was lucky enough to learn from some of the smartest people in the industry.
I have successfully completed a number of research and design projects ranging from designing online communities and corporate websites to web-based and mobile applications.
Designing large-scale (over £1 Million) web applications? Yes, I’ve done that. Great learning opportunity.
I am also an experienced researcher and have got more than two hundred user research sessions under my belt. How about some really challenging research projects? Well, moderating game testing multiplayer sessions (with four participants at once!) for a console shooter game certainly wasn’t the easiest I’ve done so far.
You might often see me at industry events in London, such as UKUPA, LondonIA, LightningUX, UXCampLondon, or GameCamp.
I also gave several industry talks along the way.

And finally, here’s a disclaimer (I am sure you expected something like this): The views presented on this site are entirely my own and do not represent the views of my employer. Because they’re much smarter than me.
